II SCOTTISH FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE REPORT - 1ST JULY TO 30TH SEPTEMBER, 2021
There was submitted Report No 20-2022 by Area Commander Wood providing information for the Committee regarding the performance of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service against the priorities, outcomes and performance indicators detailed within the Local Fire and Rescue Plan for Dundee 2020/2023, to facilitate local scrutiny.
The Committee agreed to note, scrutinise and question the content of the report.
III DUNDEE LOCAL POLICING AREA QUARTERLY POLICE REPORT - 1ST JULY TO 30TH SEPTEMBER, 2021
There was submitted Report No 12-2022 by Chief Superintendent Davison providing information for the Committee regarding the performance of Police Scotland against performance indicators that would facilitate local scrutiny.
The Committee agreed to note and scrutinise the operational report.
IV ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR - 1ST JULY TO 30TH SEPTEMBER, 2021
There was submitted Report No 7-2022 by the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services providing an overview on the reporting figures to the Neighbourhood Services - Anti-Social Behaviour Team for the period 1st July, 2021 to 30th September, 2021.
The Committee agreed to note the content of the report.
V LEADERSHIP OF PUBLIC PROTECTION ARRANGEMENTS
There was submitted Report No 13-2022 by the Chief Executive updating the Committee regarding arrangements for leadership of the strategic public protection agenda by the Chief Officers (Public Protection) Strategic Group, including key developments over the last nine months and future strategic ambitions.
The Committee agreed to:-
(i) note the role of the Chief Officers (Public Protection) Strategic Group in providing leadership for the protection of children and adults at risk (section 4.2 of the report);
(ii) note the work undertaken by the Chief Officers (Public Protection) Strategic Group over the last nine months to enhance arrangements for public protection, including supporting the joint inspection of services for children at risk of harm and the ongoing pandemic response (section 4.3, section 4.4, Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 of the report);
(iii) note the priorities for the Chief Officers (Public Protection) Strategic Group for the next six months (section 4.6 of the report); and
(iv) direct the Chief Executive to provide further updates regarding the work of the Chief Officers (Public Protection) Strategic Group and key developments in public protection to Committee on a six-monthly basis.
