I DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Lord Provost Borthwick, Bailie Roberts and Bailie Sawers declared non-financial interests in Article II(a) by virtue of knowing one of the deputations due to his work in their respective constituencies.
II PLANNING APPLICATIONS
(a) 19-00601-FULL - LAND TO THE WEST OF PITKERRO MILL, KELLAS ROAD, DUNDEE - APPLICATION UNDER SECTION 42 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997 TO AMEND CONDITION 5 OF PLANNING APPLICATION 16-00394-FULL - FOR MRS GILLIAN BAYFORD-DEANS
The Committee acceded to requests for deputations to address the Committee in support of and relative to objections to the above application which was recommended for approval. After the deputations had stated their cases and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.
Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee agreed that the application be approved, subject to the conditions recommended by the Executive Director of City Development and also subject to an amendment to Condition 12 which would now state:-
Within three months of the date of this decision, a method statement for the proposed Lade Inlet Repairs as detailed within Appendix B of Flood Risk Assessment Revision F by McGregor McMahon, Consulting Engineers dated 19th July, 2019 shall be submitted to the Council for approval. All repairs approved in the aforementioned method statement shall be completed prior to the commencement of any work on the residential units or turning head within the development hereby approved. The works must thereafter be maintained in accordance with the agreed details within the method statement and Appendix B of the Flood Risk Assessment.
(b) 19-00687FULM - LAND AT FORMER STEWART HOUSE, KINGSWAY EAST, DUNDEE - ERECTION OF 71 HOUSES WITH ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE - FOR PERSIMMON HOMES NORTH SCOTLAND/MARKETGAIT DEVELOPMENTS LTD
The Committee acceded to requests for deputations to address the Committee in support of and relative to objections to the above application which was recommended for approval. After the deputations had stated their cases and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.
Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Executive Director of City Development.
III DELEGATED ITEMS
There was submitted Agenda Note AN84-2019 advising that from 1st November to 30th November, 2019 there were 62 delegated decisions. Two of those applications attracted objections. Of those, both were approved.
