II FLEMING TRUST - INCREASING SUPPLY OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING
There was submitted Report No 119-2015 by the Director of Housing outlining the aims and objectives of the Fleming Trust and options for how the Fleming Trust could be used as a vehicle to increase the supply of affordable rented housing in Dundee.
The Fleming Trustees agreed that consideration be given to the Fleming Trust financing a new build programme of 15-20 units from 2015/2016 onwards by prudential borrowing from Dundee City Council reserves at an agreed rate and term such as could reasonably be supported from the ongoing surpluses whilst retaining a prudent level of reserves.
