III PERTH PRISON VISITING COMMITTEE
There was submitted Agenda Note AN205-2014 intimating that Perth Prison Visiting Committee had asked the City Council to seek nominations to fill vacancies on the Visiting Committee.
It was recommended that it be remitted to the Administration Group, Labour Group, Bailie Borthwick, Bailie Scott and Councillor Macpherson, to submit Councillor or non-Councillor nominations to the Head of Democratic and Legal Services.
It was also recommended that it be remitted to the Head of Democratic and Legal Services to advertise the vacancies.
The Council approved accordingly.
The Council resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.
IV APPOINTMENTS - LEISURE AND CULTURE DUNDEE BOARD
There was submitted Agenda Note AN206-2014 intimating that there were two vacancies to be filled on the Board of Trustees of Leisure and Culture Dundee for Charity Trustees who were neither elected members nor officials of the Council (Independent Charity Trustees). These would be effective from the AGM to be held on 7th November, 2014.
Following consideration of expressions of interest, the Nominations Committee of Leisure and Culture Dundee agreed to recommend to the Council the appointment of the following individuals as Independent Charity Trustees:-

Craig Simpson
The Council approved accordingly.
