The Board agreed to grant a variation to core hours on Saturdays 11am to 1am and on Sundays 11am to 12 midnight. Club or other meetings to be held outwith core hours. Children to be permitted access for football matches at Dens and Tannadice for two hours prior to kick-off and one hour after match but no later than 8pm.

The Board, having heard from the applicant on their own behalf, agreed to grant a variation to allow alcohol only to be sold for consumption on the premises. Variation to core hours to be 11am to 2.30am daily (current hours 2pm to 2.30am daily). Children 0-17 years to be allowed access when accompanied by a responsible adult to the balcony area between 11am and 8pm for the purpose of consumption of a meal.

The Board agreed to grant a variation to Area 3 - to extend the area of the licence to include the smoking shelter.
III PREMISES LICENCES
(i) REVIEW HEARING - BOWBRIDGE BAR, 2 MAIN STREET, DUNDEE
The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the licence holder, an agent on behalf of the landlord, the Chief Constable's representative, a Licensing Standards Officer and the Board's Legal Adviser, Councillor Gordon moved to defer the hearing. As an amendment, the Convener moved not to defer the hearing.
On a division, there voted for the motion - Councillors Roberts and Gordon (2); and for the amendment - the Convener and Councillors Bowes, Guild and Fordyce (4) - whereupon the amendment was declared carried.
Thereafter, on the motion of the Convener, the Board unanimously agreed to suspend the premises licence up to and including 31st March, 2011, ie a period of forty three days.
The Board further agreed to hold personal licence review hearings in respect of two members of staff.
(ii) REQUEST FOR REVIEW HEARINGS
Councillor Gordon declared a non-financial interest by virtue of frequenting the premises in relation to item (iii).
The Board agreed to hold review hearings in respect of:-
(i) Lifestyle Grocers, 141-143 South Road, Dundee.
(ii) Kennedy's Deli and Steakhouse, 33 Castle Street, Dundee.
(iii) The Convenience Store, 107-109 Cheviot Crescent, Dundee.
IV PERSONAL LICENCES
(i) REQUEST FOR REVIEW HEARING
The Board agreed to hold a review hearing in respect of Waqas Carim.
(ii) NEW APPLICATION - FRASER S ROLLEY
The Board deferred the above application.
