III SEYMOUR LODGE REPLACEMENT

Reference was made to Article I of the meeting of this Committee held on 22nd February, 2010, wherein the Committee authorised the City Architectural Services Officer to procure a contract with an appropriate contractor within the overall allowance of 2.65m and that the Depute Chief Executive (Support Services) issue an acceptance for this contract following consultation with the Director of Social Work.

There was submitted Agenda Note AN128-2010 reporting that due to the nature of the contract, it was agreed with the Chief Executive that a partnering contract would be the best way to procure the work and following a selection process, Mansell Construction Services Ltd, Perth, were invited to work with the Council to progress the project. An Agreed Maximum Price (AMP) had been reached of 1,816,249.10 and this brought out a total project cost as follows:-

Demolition (City Development)

51,090

Furniture and Equipment
