There was submitted Report No 490-2009 by the Director of City Development advising the Committee of the results of a Customer Satisfaction Survey in respect of the Council's Development Quality service which was undertaken between May and June, 2009 and seeking approval for appropriate improvements to the operation of the service as indicated in the report.

The Committee agreed to:-

(a) note the content of the report and approve the recommended actions as outlined in Appendices 1 and 2 to the report;

(b) agree that the report and a full statistical summary of responses be made available on the Council's website; and

(c) consider more appropriate mechanisms for gauging customer satisfaction, taking into account the relatively low level of response to the questionnaires issued.

III DELEGATED APPLICATIONS

There was submitted Agenda Note AN224-2009 reporting for the information of the Committee that in September, 2009, 30 applications had been decided under delegated powers. Four of these applications had attracted objections and of these four, one was refused and three were approved.
