Unless marked thus * all items stand delegated.
The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 3, 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.
I PURCHASE OF HOME CARE EXCEEDING AGREED LIMITS
There was submitted Report No 50-2009 by the Director of Social Work requesting authorisation to purchase home care services for one service user which exceeded agreed authorised limits.
The Sub-Committee agreed to authorise payment in respect of this care arrangement. The cost of the proposed care package exceeded agreed authorised limits but would meet current needs appropriately and would be subject to regular review and adjusted as appropriate should circumstances change.
II ORGANISATION L
There was submitted Agenda Note AN15-2009 by the Director of Social Work on the care provided by organisation L.
The Sub-Committee agreed that permission be given to the Director of Social Work to make suitable placements to organisation L without the need to seek Sub-Committee approval each time on the terms as outlined in the note.
Helen WRIGHT, Convener.
