III WARD 2 - LOCHEE - RESIGNATION OF COUNCILLOR DON
There was submitted Agenda Note AN224-2007 intimating, for information, that Councillor Don had resigned with effect from 24th August, 2007 and that the Returning Officer had arranged for the by-election to be held on Thursday, 22nd November, 2007.
In addition, it was reported that a review of all polling places was currently ongoing and a report would be submitted to the Council in November 2007.
In the meantime, it was recommended that the following changes be implemented for the Lochee by-election. In the case of ACA, there were only 109 electors which was too few for a polling station. All other changes would result in improved access and parking for electors.
