The minute of meeting of this Committee of 20th March 2006 was held as read.
Unless marked thus * all items stand delegated.
The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.
I LEASE OF VARIOUS PROPERTIES TO DUNDEE LEISURE
Reference was made to Article VIII of the minute of meeting of the Leisure and Arts Services Committee of 20th March 2006 regarding the proposed transfer of leisure service provision from Dundee City Council to Dundee Leisure.
There was submitted Agenda Note AN104-2006 advising that as part of the proposed transfer it would be necessary to lease each of the following properties to Dundee Leisure:-
Olympia Swimming & Leisure Centre
Lochee Swimming & Leisure Centre
Lynch Sports Centre
Douglas Sports Centre
Dundee International Sport Centre
The Committee approved the above leases on the terms and conditions detailed.
