II LOCAL GOVERNANCE (SCOTLAND) ACT, 2004 REVIEW OF ELECTORAL ARRANGEMENTS
On a reference to Article IV of the minute of meeting of the City Council of 18th October 2004, there was submitted Report No 283-2005 by the Assistant Chief Executive (Community Planning) outlining the initial proposals by the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland for eight multi member wards within the Dundee City Council area.
The Council:-
(i) noted the progress and procedures as detailed by the Local Government Boundary Commission;
(ii) approved minor amendments to the Boundary Commission as set out in Section 8 of the Report;
(iii) approved the undernoted ward names:-

III TAYSIDE CONTRACTS JOINT COMMITTEE - APPOINTMENTS
Reference was made to Article VII (18) of the minute of meeting of the City Council of 15th May, 2003 wherein two members of the Labour Group, two members of the SNP Group, one member of the Conservative Group, and one member of the Liberal Democratic Group, were appointed to serve on the above Committee.
There was submitted Agenda Note AN173-2005 intimating that, falling the resignation of the Lord Provost, the vacancy required to be filled by a member of the Labour Group.
The Council agreed to appoint Councillor Morrow.
In addition, it was further agreed that Councillor Morrow be appointed Vice-Convener of Tayside Contracts Joint Committee.
