The minute of meeting of this Committee of 18th October 2004 was held as read.

I REVENUE MONITORING 2004/2005
After considering Report No 737-2004 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) providing the Committee with an analysis of the 2004/05 Projected Revenue Outturn as at 30th September 2004 monitored against the adjusted 2004/05 Revenue Budget, the Committee:-
(a)noted that the overall General Fund 2004/05 Projected Revenue Outturn as at 30th September 2004 showed an overspend of 185,000 against the adjusted 2004/05 Revenue Budget;
(b)noted that the Housing Revenue Account Projected Outturn was in line with the adjusted 2004/05 Revenue Budget;
(c)instructed that the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) to take every reasonable action to ensure that the 2004/05 Revenue Expenditure was in line with the adjusted Revenue Budget; and
(d)instructed the Depute Chief Executive (Finance), in conjunction with all Chief Officers of the Council, to continue to monitor the Council's 2004/05 Projected Revenue Outturn.
II CAPITAL EXPENDITURE MONITORING 2004/2005
After considering Report No 724-2004 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) appraising members of the latest position regarding the Council's Capital Expenditure Programme for 2004/05, the Committee noted the contents of the report.
III COUNTER FRAUD REPORT (JULY 2004 TO SEPTEMBER 2004)
On a reference to Article IV(b) of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 14th June 2004 there was submitted Report No 722-2004 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) recommending that the Committee approve the information detailed in the report.
The Committee approved accordingly.
IV RELIEF OF RATES - CHARITY RELIEF
Bailie Farquhar and Councillors Hind and Webster declared a non-financial interest in this item by virtue of being the Council representatives on the Board of Dundee Contemporary Arts.
There was submitted Report No 735-2004 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) seeking authorisation to grant charity relief on the undernoted non-domestic properties:-
