I MINUTE OF MEETING OF SCHOOL ATTENDANCE SUB-COMMITTEE OF 22ND JUNE 2004
The minute of the above meeting (Appendix I) was submitted for information.
II HM INSPECTORATE OF EDUCATION - CRAIGIEBARNS PRIMARY SCHOOL INSPECTION
There was submitted and noted the report by HM Inspectorate of Education on Craigiebarns Primary School.
III HM INSPECTORATE OF EDUCATION - HARRIS ACADEMY
There was submitted and noted the report by HM Inspectorate of Education on Harris Academy.
IV DUNDEE SCHOOLS PPP PROJECT - PROGRESS REPORT
There was submitted Report No 527-2004 by the Chief Executive and Director of Education updating the Committee on the current status of the Dundee Schools PPP Project.
The Committee noted the report and that tender documents had been issued to Precept Project Management Limited and Robertson Capital Projects Limited.
V TENDERS RECEIVED
There was submitted Report No 552-2004 by the City Architectural Services Officer detailing tenders received and requesting a decision thereon.
(i) ROCKWELL PRIMARY SCHOOL - EXTERNAL REPAINT
The Committee agreed to accept the schedule of rates offer from Dundee Contract Services for external repainting at Rockwell Primary School for 15,000 together with allowances of 2,250, giving a total of 17,250.
(ii) CRAIGIE HIGH SCHOOL - REFLOORING TO GYMNASIUM
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer from A McKay (Flooring), Glasgow, for reflooring Craigie High School Gymnasium for 11,833 together with allowances of 3,499, giving a total of 15,332.
