I UNAUDITED STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST MARCH, 2004

There was submitted the Unaudited Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31st March, 2004 (Report No 507-2004) together with Report No 506-2004 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) providing some additional commentary on the Unaudited Statement of Accounts.

The Committee:-

(i) noted the contents of the covering report;

(ii)noted the unaudited Statement of Accounts that had been submitted along with the report; and

(iii)instructed the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) to submit the Statement of Accounts to the Controller of Audit, Accounts Commission for Scotland.

II FINANCE REVENUES SERVICE PLAN 2003-2007 PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR 2003/2004

There was submitted Report No 496-2004 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) relative to the above.

The Committee noted the progress in 2003/2004 towards the performance targets set for each service in the Finance Revenue Service Plan 2003-2007.

The Convener agreed that the undernoted item be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No 17(b) in view of the timescales involved.

III FINANCE GENERAL SERVICES PLAN 2003-2007 PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR 2003/04

There was submitted Report No 495-2004 by the Depute Chief Executive (Finance) relative to the above.

The Committee noted the progress in 2003/2004 towards the performance targets set for each service in the Finance General Service Plan 2003-2007.
