II COAT OF ARMS
There was submitted Agenda Note AN51-2004 reporting that Dr E C Gerding, Argentine Naval Hydrographics Service Buenos Aires, Argentina, had requested permission to use the Council's Coat of Arms in his research paper on the Dundee born Argentinian naval hero Francis Drummond.
The Council approved the request subject to the Coat of Arms not being used on the cover or in any other way which might be promotional or infer the work was supported by the Council.
