I LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1976

(a) SECTION 31 HEARINGS

The Board gave consideration to a letter of complaint which had been submitted by the Chief Constable and having heard the representative of Tayside Police and an agent on behalf of the licence holder, Councillor Regan moved that the licence be suspended until March 2004.

As an amendment, the Chairman moved that no further action be taken until the outcome of the Court case was known.

On a division, there voted for the motion - Councillors Regan and Mackie (2); and for the amendment - the Chairman and Councillors Macpherson, FitzPatrick and Fordyce (4); whereupon the amendment was declared carried and no further action be taken until the outcome of the Court case was known.
