I DUNDEE AIRPORT ? CAPITAL EXPENDITURE PLAN 2003-04
The Director of Economic Development submitted Report No 329-2003 requesting approval for an item of capital investment at Dundee Airport within the financial years 2003-04 and 2004-05. He advised it was not possible to report upon the Airport programme as a whole until the Department for Transport had confirmed the resources that it could make available in the present financial year.
The Committee approved the terms of the report and specifically that preparation of the scheme indicated in the report be progressed with a view to it proceeding as soon as formal capital expenditure consent was received from the Department for Transport and the Scottish Executive.
II UPGRADE OF SHOPPING PRECINCTS
There was submitted Agenda Note AN240-2003 advising that funds had been allocated to the Economic Development Department of 100,000 in each of the years 2003-04 and 2004-05 through the Quality of Life Funding.
It was proposed to allocate the 100,000 for 2003-04 towards improvements to shopping parades at 3-13 Mauchline Avenue, 2-14 Brownhill Road and 28 and 30 Fintry Drive.
The Committee approved the programme of works as detailed.
The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part 1 of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.
