City Development Committee - 31/03/2003

At a MEETING of the ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 31st March, 2003.

The minute of meeting of this Committee of 10th March, 2003 was held as read.

Unless marked thus * all items stand delegated.

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

I FORMER LINLATHEN HIGH SCHOOL SITE, FORFAR ROAD, DUNDEE

Reference was made to Article VII of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 13th April, 1998 and Article IX of the Recess Sub-Committee of 5th August, 2002. There was submitted Agenda Note AN168-2003 advising that the above site had now been remarketed and by the closing date only one offer had been received from an interested party conditional upon receipt of planning permission.

The Committee agreed to accept the offer and instructed the Director of Support Services to conclude the sale of the site to the interested company on the terms and conditions detailed.
