I LITERACIES ACTION PLAN - ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES 2002/03
There was submitted Report No 135-2003 by the Director of Neighbourhood Resources and Development making recommendations for the allocation of resources to Community Learning Partners in order that they can deliver on the key elements contained in the Literacies Action Plan which was approved by the Scottish Executive in April 2002.
The Committee approved the following recommendations:-
(a) to note the allocation of additional funding for adult literacy as set out in Paragraph 3.2 of the report.
(b) to agree the allocation of Literacies Action Plan Funding 2002/03 as detailed in Section 6 of the report.
(c) to agree an extension of the contract for CM Associates on the basis of previously agreed rates for the next financial year 2003/04.
II SOCIAL INCLUSION PARTNERSHIP - ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES 2002/03
There was submitted Report No 119-2003 by the Director of Neighbourhood Resources and Development bringing forward proposals for the further allocation of Social Inclusion Partnerships 1 and 2 revenue funding and awards from Small Grants Fund.
The Committee noted the recommendations of the SIP Board and the further allocation of SIP1 and SIP2 revenue funding for 2002/03 as detailed in Section 6 and Appendices B & C of the report and agreed the award of Social Inclusion Partnership I Small Grants as detailed in Appendix D of the report.
III SOCIAL INCLUSION PARTNERSHIP - ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES 2003/04
There was submitted Report No 118-2003 by the Director of Neighbourhood Resources and Development making recommendations for the further allocation of Social Inclusion Partnership funding for the financial year 2003/04 in order that existing projects can be extended beyond their current funding period.
The Committee noted the outcome of the SIP decision making process, agreed to the recommendations contained in Section 9 of the report and instructed officers to proceed with implementation of the proposals and any conditions contained in Appendix B of the report.
IV SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS I - 2002/03
On a reference to Article 1 of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 10th January 2000 there was submitted Report No 106-2003 by the Director of Neighbourhood Resources and Development informing the Committee of Service Level Agreement grants.

There was submitted Report No 89-2003 by the Director of Neighbourhood Resources and Development making recommendations for grant awards from the Non-Recurring Revenue Grants Fund. The grant awards would be met from the Department's Revenue Budget 2002/03.
