Housing, Dundee Contract Services And Environment Services Committee - 09/12/2002

I TRANSFER OF LAND AT ARDLER

Reference was made to Article V of the minute of meeting of the Housing Committee of 18th November, 2002 and Article V of the Leisure and Arts Services Committee of 18th November, 2002. There was submitted Agenda Note AN291-2002 informing the Committee that following the Ardler Stock Transfer on 3rd December, 2001 the open ground highlighted on the plan which was available in the Chambers was transferred from the Housing Revenue Account to Dundee Contract Services, Parks Section, as Public Open Space subject to consent of Scottish Ministers. Booking of football pitches would continue to be administered through Leisure and Arts Services. The transfer was at nil value.

The Committee noted accordingly.

II SUPPLY OF NEW VEHICLES 2002/2003

There was submitted Report No 751-2002 by the Director of Dundee Contract Services informing the committee of fixed prices submitted by vehicle suppliers for new commercial vehicles required by Dundee Contract Services.

The Committee agreed to accept the lowest valid tender price for each category of vehicle required from the successful tenderers listed below.
