Personnel Appeals Sub-committee - 09/11/2000

At a MEETING of the PERSONNEL APPEALS SUB-COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 9th November, 2000.

The Sub-Committee resolved under Section 50A(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, that the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

HOUSING DEPARTMENT - GRADING APPEAL

There were submitted regrading appeals by DS, KJ and DG, employees within the Housing Renewal Unit.

The Sub-Committee heard the appellants and thereafter the Council's representative.

After questions had been put and answers given by both parties to each other and by members of the Sub-Committee and its advisers, the parties withdrew.

Thereafter, having given careful consideration to all the information, the Sub-Committee agreed that the grounds of the appeal had not been substantiated and that the appeal be not upheld.
