I HIRE OF VANS AND LORRIES 2002/2003

There was submitted Report No 155-2002 by the Director of Dundee Contract Services informing the Committee of rates submitted by Vehicle Hire Companies for the hire of vans and lorries, as and when required for the financial year 2002/2003.

The Committee agreed to accept the prices tendered as shown and noted they will be drawn on in order of price tendered with consideration given to availability and service. The successful tenderers were:-

V HIRE OF POWERED ACCESS EQUIPMENT 2002/2003

There was submitted Report No 159-2002 by the Director of Dundee Contract Services informing the Committee of rates submitted by Powered Access Equipment Hire Companies for the supply of powered access equipment, as and when required for the financial year 2002/2003.

The Committee agreed to accept the prices tendered as shown and noted that they will be drawn on in order of price tendered with consideration given to availability and service. The successful tenderers were:-

Nationwide Access, Dundee.

VI LEASE OF TRAILER MOUNTED PRESSURE WASHER

It was reported that tenders were invited for the supply of a trailer mounted pressure washer.

The Committee was advised that the pressure washer was for use by the Rapid Response Team and the Director of Environmental and Consumer Protection in consultation with the Convener and Opposition Spokespersons, accepted the offer submitted by Tayside Pressure Washers for the sum of 2,300 per annum for five years.

The Committee noted accordingly.
