I REVIEW OF LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1976 - CONSULTATION PAPER
The Board agreed a response to the consultation paper issued by the Committee on Liquor Licensing Law in Scotland subject to amendments to Paragraphs 13 and 24 of the response.

In the case of application number 1, the Board gave consideration to observations which had been received from the Environmental and Consumer Protection Department, and after hearing the applicant on his own behalf, agreed that the application for renewal of licence be granted subject to the condition that the premises be maintained to a satisfactory standard in the future.
The Board advised the applicant that a Section 32 hearing would be convened if the above condition was not adhered to.
In the case of application number 2, the Board gave consideration to observations which had been received from the Environmental and Consumer Protection Department, and after hearing an agent on behalf of the applicant, agreed that the application for renewal of Sunday opening licence be granted subject to the condition that the premises be maintained to a satisfactory standard in the future.
The Board advised the applicant that a Section 32 hearing would be convened if the above condition was not adhered to.
The Board noted that the application for renewal of children's certificates had been withdrawn.
(b)APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT TRANSFER OF LICENCE IN TERMS OF SECTION 25(1)
