I A92 PROJECT MODIFICATION TO COMPULSORY PURCHASE AND SIDE ROAD ORDERS

 

On a reference to Article V of the minute of meeting of the City Council of 16 April, there was submitted Report No 232-2001 by the Director of Planning and Transportation relative to the above.

 

The Committee approved the recommendations in the report that:-

 

(i)the Compulsory Purchase Order and Side Roads etc Order already promoted by Dundee City Council in relation to the A92 Dundee to Arbroath dualling project in respect of that part of the road falling within the Local Government area of Dundee be modified in the manner referred to in this report;

 

(ii)the modifications contained in the finalised Schedule of Modifications to the Dundee City Council (A92 Dundee-Arbroath Dualling) Compulsory Purchase Order 1999 be promoted;

 

(iii)the modifications contained in the finalised Schedule of Modifications of the Dundee City Council (A92 Dundee-Arbroath Dualling) (New Side Roads, Side Road Improvements) (Stopping-Up of Side Roads and Private Accesses) Order 1999 be promoted;

 

(iv)in the event of any modification not being capable of being promoted for any reason that the modification be dropped and the promoted scheme revert to the terms of the original orders; and

 

(v)it be noted that Angus Council have promoted reciprocal modifications to the Compulsory Purchase and Side Road etc Order within the Angus Council area.
