The minute of meeting of the Licensing Board of 18th January, 2001 was held as read.

 

I SECTION 32 HEARING

 

Reference was made to the minute of meeting of the Licensing Board of 18th January, 2001 wherein it was agreed to hold a Section 32 Hearing in respect of the Paramount Bar, Session Street.

 

The Board were advised that the premises were now satisfactory and agreed that no action be taken subject to the license holder being warned with regard to the need to maintain the premises in a satisfactory standard in future.

The Board noted that application No 1 by Alexander Boyce in respect of The Bruce Hotel (had been withdrawn).

 

In the case of application No 4 by Veronica Purvey in respect of the Corner Bar, High Street, Lochee, the Board were advised that the application had been lodged late.

 

After hearing an agent on behalf of the applicant the Board accepted that the late list of the application was due to inadvertence and thereafter remitted consideration of the application to a special meeting.

 

There being no objections to the remaining applications the Board granted renewal.

 

(b)Application for Regular Extension of Permitted Hours

(c)Application for Transfer of Licence in terms of Section 25(i)

 

There being no objections the Board granted an application for a transfer of licence to Bruce Fyffe in respect of the Carlton House Hotel, 2 Dalgleish Road, Dundee.
