The National Parent Forum of Scotland
- is a voluntary organisation providing an independent voice for parents/carers on education
- builds partnerships at national and local levels
- communicates with parents and parent councils through a network of parent volunteers from each local authority area
- has parent representatives on national committees and working groups to make sure the parent perspective is taken account of
