The Council's Development Management service decides applications for planning permission, listed building consent, conservation area consent, advertisement consent and works to protected trees. It gives pre application advice on development proposals (including making determinations on whether consent is required). It can take action where development is carried out without or not in accordance with permission.
It provides public information on applications which have been submitted, explains how you can comment on applications and provides general advice and information on development management matters.
A new home for ePlanning
The existing portal, eplanning.scotland.gov.uk, is being replaced by our new online applications portal ePlanning.scot. This new service launches on Wednesday, 13th January 2016.
You will be able to access the portal from 13 January 2016 at www.eplanning.scot
This will be a like-for-like service. It is a new portal, with refreshed branding. But it has a very familiar look and feel and will function in the way you have been accustomed to.
The change will help to secure the long-term future of the ePlanning service. And it is the first phase of an expanding service under the banner of eDevelopment.scot.
