If you experience smoke problems from a house, commercial or industrial chimney or bonfire, you can report it using this online form. Smoke from fires/bonfires can be annoying. Although simply having a domestic bonfire is not an offence, allowing the smoke to cause a nuisance to someone else can be.
Please note that for complaints of an immediate nature you should contact Neighbourhood Services directly on 01382 433710 as you may not receive an immediate response to this on line form. Complaints submitted outwith of normal working hours will not be picked up until the next working day. If the fire is dangerous call the Fire Brigade on 999
