Balgay, Victoria and Lochee Parks content
All of our parks and green spaces are open and should be used in line with Government advice on physical distancing to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Play areas and communal equipment, including outdoors gym areas are also open (update 29 June).
Members of the public should be aware that all public toilets remain closed until further notice (Tues 23rd June). We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Balgay Hill, home of the city's Mills Observatory, has a fine mixture of deciduous and large conifer trees. For a relaxing afternoon, walk along the network of footpaths offering magnificent views across the River Tay.
Victoria Park offers a mixture of rose gardens, bedding plant displays, active play and recreational areas.
Lochee Park, donated to the city by the Cox Brothers (jute mill owners) in 1890, provides ample space for active sports.
