Maya
American Akita, female, aged around 7 years, fawn and white, female, thick coat, large.
Maya can be wary of people to begin with but she is very friendly once she knows you.
She is fine around children aged 11 years upwards. Maya seems to be friendly with other dogs but would not suit a home where there are cats as she likes to chase them.
She enjoys going for her walks but may pull to start with. Maya does get sick when travelling in the car.
She is looking for someone who can give her the exercise that she requires and plenty of cuddles as she can be very affectionate.
