Mill O' Mains Regeneration Area

Mill O’Mains Community Regeneration is an on-going four phase programme which will see over 300 new high quality energy efficient homes built in Mill O’Mains.

A Masterplan was prepared for the area in 2007 and involved a partnership approach between Dundee City Council, Home Scotland, HTA architects and the local community. The Masterplan was approved in 2009 and proposed creating a new better connected place, with a desirable housing mix and private gardens.

The approved Masterplan is a material consideration in the determination of planning applications in the area.

A planning application for phase three was submitted to the Council in December 2013 that sought the development of 62 houses and 8 flats across Mill O’Mains.  This application was approved by Development Management Committee in February 2014 and tenants moved into the new homes in 2017.
