Leader welcomes Forth Ports announcement
12/12/24Dundee City Council Leader Cllr Mark Flynn has welcomed the news of Forth Ports’ £50 million investment at the Port of Leith as part of its delivery on the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm project which will see work carried out at the Port of Dundee.
Forth Ports’ agreement with Inch Cape, to be sited off the Angus coast, will utilise the port operator’s facilities and expertise at newly created renewable energy hubs at both the Port of Leith and Port of Dundee.
Council Leader Mark Flynn said: “The announcement of Forth Ports’ £50 million private investment in infrastructure at the Port of Leith marks a pivotal moment for Dundee, the region and Scotland as a whole.
