Transport arrangements for Braeview Academy Pupils.

S3-6 go to Craigie High from Wednesday September 19

S1-2 go to Baldragon Academy from Monday September 24.

For the next few weeks, all Braeview Academy pupils will receive free bus transport from the Braeview community to their designated alternative school, either Craigie HS or Baldragon Academy. Braeview staff will travel on the buses with the young people to and from school. The buses will collect the young people and take them to school. The pupils will have a slightly shorter school day to allow them to return home at their usual time.

S1 and S2 pupils

From Monday 24 September 2018 pupils will leave Baldragon Academy at 3pm.  The buses will stop at two places on the way home:  Longhaugh Road , beside the Longhaugh Turning Circle and Braeview Academy. Young people can choose which of the two places to get off the bus. These are the only two designated bus stops.

What happens if my child misses the free school bus in the morning?

We are asking for help here. In order to maximise the learning time for pupils, it will not be possible to wait for pupils who arrive late. If your child misses the bus, we would ask parents and carers to take responsibility for ensuring that their child gets to school.

My child gets a taxi to school. What happens to their transport?

All young people who receive taxi transport will continue to receive this to take them to their temporary new school site.
