Variation to off-street car parks22/02/17
Motorist in Dundee who asked for more flexible parking could have their needs meet.
The City Development Committee will consider changing the variation to four long stay car parks in the city at its meeting on Monday (February 27).
City Development Convener Councillor Will Dawson said: “I’m pleased to say we have listened and responded to requests to alter existing long stay car parks to make them variable stay.
“We believe by introducing these changes we will improve the experience of customers across the city, by offering both time and cost flexibility that was not previously on offer.”
If approved, these car parks will change from long stay to variable stay which will allow customers greater flexibility for both time and cost when utilising these car parks
Dundee City Council have responded to requests and this change will allow customers greater flexibility.
The Committee could approve the preparation of the necessary Traffic Regulation to Order to vary these four car parks:
- West Bell Street
- Hunter Street (North)
- Hunter Street (South)
- East Whale Lane
