LOCAL LITTER pickers living near Dundee Law are being encouraged to head for the hill later this week.

As part of the Dundee Law Heritage Project and Take Pride in Your City campaign a litter pick and environmental improvement session will be held at the Law on Sunday.

Vari McDonald, vice convener of Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee said: “The Dundee Law Heritage Project, part funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund, has already successfully carried out path and step renovation and a new website is being developed.

“There are also plans for wildlife habitat management as part of the project which has provided funds for tools, materials and training to support the development of Friends Group activities and volunteer sessions.”

The litter pick will be led by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Group and volunteers should meet at the steps beside the car park on Law Road at 1pm. Tools and training will be provided.  Refreshments will also be provided.
