At a MEETING of the PERSONNEL AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 22nd May, 2000.

INTEGRATED EARLY YEARS AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICE AT BEECHWOOD/FOGGYLEY

There was submitted Report No.211-2000 by the Directors of Education, Personnel and Management Services and Social Work relative to the above. The Committee approved the recommendations in the report so far as its interests were concerned that:-

(a) In relation to the structure of the Education Department:-

(i) two posts of Senior Nursery Nurse graded SCP 12-18 (11,685-13,305) be redesignated Children's Worker;

(ii) three posts of Nursery Nurse graded NNUR SCP 6-14 (9,591-12,120) be redesignated Children's Worker;

(iii) the part-time post of Auxiliary/Clerical Assistant granted GS2, 0.3 per week be deleted and a full-time Auxiliary/Clerical Assistant post be established;

(iv) one and a half posts of Children's Worker graded SCP 12-18 (11,685-13,305) be established; and

(v) a new post of Senior Children's Worker (Early Intervention) granted AP 4/5 + one increment (17,322-22,083) be established for the duration of the pilot.

(b) In relation to the structure of the Social Work Department:-

(i) the post of Centre Manager graded PO1-4 (22,083-24,009) be redesignated Depute Head of Centre;

(ii) two posts of Centre Worker granted AP4/5 + one increment (17,322-22,083) be redesignated Senior Children's Worker;

(iii) five posts of Assistant Centre Worker granted ACW SCP 12-18 (11,685-13,305) be redesignated Children's Worker;

(iv) one and a half posts of Assistant Centre Worker granted ACW SCP 12-18 (11,685-13,305) be deleted; and

(v) one post of Domestic Assistant (0.7 FTE) be redeployed with a social work establishment.
