I STANDARD CHARGES FOR LOCAL AUTHORITY RESIDENTIAL UNITS
There was submitted Report No 332-2000 by the Director of Social Work recommending the level of standard charge to be applied in 2000/2001 for local authority residential accommodation for adults.
The Committee approved the undernoted standard charges, with effect from April 2000:-

II STANDARDS FOR THE PROVISION OF DAYCARE FOR UNDER EIGHTS
There was submitted Report No 331-2000 by the Director of Social Work seeking approval to implement revised standards for daycare for under eights in Dundee.
The Committee remitted to the Director of Social Work to implement the standards for the registration and inspection of daycare provision for under eights, including childminding, playgroups, out-of-school care and nurseries.
III CLOSE SUPPORT AND SECURE UNIT ESSENTIAL FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT
There was submitted Report No 312-2000 by the City Architectural Services Officer relative to the above.
It was agreed that the Director of Support Services in conjunction with the Director of Social Work be authorised to accept the most advantageous offers as recommended by the City Architectural Services Officer for essential furniture and equipment for the Close Support and Secure Unit, details of the resulting procurement to be reported to the Committee at a later date.
The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1973 that the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it might lead to the disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.
