I LOO OF THE YEAR AWARDS
The Committee noted that Dundee City Council had once again achieved national recognition for the standards of its public conveniences in the 2000/2001 Loo of the Year Awards.
The awards which were achieved were as follows:-
Public Conveniences
Castle Street Five Star Award and Best Local Authority Public Convenience in the Country
Queen Street Five Star Award
Seagate Four Star Award.
In addition, the staff from these facilities gained Attendant Team of the Year Awards and were in attendance to receive their awards.
The Committee congratulated Environmental and Consumer Protection Department staff for their efforts in not only achieving these standards, but maintaining a high level of service over a number of years.
