The Board unanimously agreed that Councillor Stewart Hunter be appointed as Convener of Dundee City Licensing Board.

The Board, having heard from the agent on behalf of the applicant, the Licensing Standards Officer and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to approve the variation to allow off-sales from 10am to 10pm, to allow home delivery and hampers, to allow live performances (acoustic/piano - max 2 persons) in the basement of the premises where restaurant is located during core hours, to a change in description of premises to "We operate as a fish/seafood restaurant on the basement level and a takeaway (chip shop) on the ground level. The basement level is where you will find the WC facilities. The ordering and consumption of food and drinks in the restaurant will be via table service only, subject to the condition that all amplified music and vocals would be inaudible in the nearest residential accommodation.

The Board, having heard from the applicant, the Chief Constables representative, the Licensing Standards Officer and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to approve the variation to allow the rear of the property to be used as a beer garden and a variation to the operating plan to provide an extension to the area already approved for outside drinking, to allow the live televised sports to be shown indoors, to show live televised sports outdoors for significant events with amplified sound and to host local music festival events outside with amplified sound in line with normal operating times, subject to the conditions that all amplified music and vocals would be inaudible in the nearest residential accommodation and must cease at 19:00hrs each day and that the outdoor drinking area terminate operation at 22:00hrs in the months of July and August and thereafter at 21:00hrs from September onwards in accordance with the Board policy.
