I DECLARATION OF INTEREST
There were no declarations of interest.
II VARIOUS PROJECTS
There was submitted Agenda Note AN23-2019 advising the Committee that, in order to expedite the programme of works below, it had been necessary to procure these works outwith the Committee cycle. Given the limited timescales available, the Executive Director of City Development in consultation with the Convener, Lord Provost Borthwick, the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat Groups Spokespersons, had accepted these offers.

The Executive Director of Corporate Services had confirmed that the project costs could be met from the City Development Department Capital Budget for 2018/2019 and 2019/2020.
The Committee noted accordingly.
III TENDERS RECEIVED
There was submitted Report No 162-2019 by the Executive Director of City Development detailing tenders received and requesting a decision thereon:-
(i) EXPANSION OF EARLY LEARNING AND CHILDCARE ENTITLEMENT TO 1140 HOURS - YARROW TERRACE NURSERY PROJECT
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated offer from Construction Services in the sum of 768,042.05, to which required to be added allowances of 199,000, giving a total expenditure of 967,042.05.
(ii) EXPANSION OF EARLY LEARNING AND CHILDCARE ENTITLEMENT TO 1140 HOURS - AMBLESIDE AVENUE NURSERY PROJECT
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated offer from Construction Services in the sum of 758,912.40, to which required to be added allowances of 193,700, giving a total expenditure of 952,612.40.
(iii) EXPANSION OF EARLY LEARNING AND CHILDCARE ENTITLEMENT TO 1140 HOURS - EXTERNAL WORKS LONGHAUGH NURSERY PROJECT
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated offer from Tayside Contracts in the sum of 23,102.70, to which required to be added allowances of 6,881.25, giving a total expenditure of 29,983.95.
(iv) EXPANSION OF EARLY LEARNING AND CHILDCARE ENTITLEMENT TO 1140 HOURS - EXTERNAL WORKS YARROW TERRACE NURSERY PROJECT
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated offer from Tayside Contracts in the sum of 22,764.69, to which required to be added allowances of 6,824.47, giving a total expenditure of 29,589.16.
(v) EXPANSION OF EARLY LEARNING AND CHILDCARE ENTITLEMENT TO 1140 HOURS - EXTERNAL WORKS AMBLESIDE AVENUE NURSERY PROJECT
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated offer from Tayside Contracts in the sum of 22,764.69, to which required to be added allowances of 6,824.47, giving a total expenditure of 29,589.16.
