I DECLARATION OF INTEREST
No declarations of interest were made.
II OBITUARY - COUNCILLOR BRIAN GORDON
The Lord Provost, Bailies Keenan, Scott and Macpherson and Councillor Alexander, on behalf of the elected members of the City Council, referred to the recent sad passing of Councillor Brian Gordon and paid tribute to the distinguished public service rendered by him. The Chief Executive, on behalf of the officers of the City Council, associated himself with these tributes. Thereafter, a minute's silence was observed in memory of Councillor Gordon.
III WARD NO 6 - NORTH EAST - ELECTION ARRANGEMENTS
On a reference to Article II above, it was reported that the Chief Executive, as Returning Officer, would make arrangements for the filling of the resultant vacancy.
The City Council noted the position.
