Councillor Alexander declared a non-financial interest by virtue of having knowledge of the applicant, left the Chamber and took no part in the debate.

 

The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the applicant, the Chief Constables representative and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to grant the application for 6th and 27th May, 2018, to refuse the application for 4th and 5th May, 2018 and to defer consideration of the remaining applications to the Board meeting on 17th May, 2018.

 

IV PREMISES LICENCE REVIEW

 

(i) OLD BANK BAR, 34 REFORM STREET, DUNDEE

 

The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the applicant and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to discharge the review, and to take no further action.

 

V PERSONAL LICENCE APPLICATION

 

(i) STANLEY PETRIE

 

The Board, having heard from the applicant on their own behalf, the Chief Constables representative and the Boards Legal Adviser, the Convener moved to grant the above application, subject to a 12 month recall.

 

As an amendment, Councillor Lynn moved to grant the above application without recall.

 

On a division, there voted for the motion - the Convener and Councillors Murray, Gordon, Cruickshank, Scott and Bailie Keenan (6) - and for the amendment - Councillors Alexander and Lynn (2) - whereby the motion was declared carried.

 

VI REQUEST FOR LICENCE REVIEWS

 

(i) PERSONAL LICENCE

 

The Board agreed to hold a personal licence review in respect of Rana Aslam.

 

(ii) PREMISES LICENCE
