I DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Councillor Short made a financial declaration in respect of Item II(a) by virtue of being a former business partner of the applicant, left the Chambers and took no part in the debate.
Depute Lord Provost Roberts, Bailies Sawers and Councillors Alexander, McDonald, Brennan, Gordon and Macpherson made a non-financial declaration in respect of item II(b) by virtue of being a member of Waste to Energy Project Board.
II PLANNING APPLICATIONS
(a) 16-00884-FULM - DEVELOPMENT GROUND - LUNDIE AVENUE - FOOTBALL GROUND, KING'S CROSS ROAD, DUNDEE - DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR DEALERSHIPS AND NEW SPORTS AND COMMUNITY HUB
The Committee acceded to requests for a deputation to address the Committee in support of and relative to objections to the above application. After the deputation had stated their cases and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.
Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee approved the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Executive Director of City Development.
(b) 16-00916-FULM - LAND AT FORTIES ROAD, BALDOVIE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, DUNDEE - CONSTRUCTION OF AN ENERGY FROM WASTE COMBINED HEAT AND POWER FACILITY - FOR MW ENVIRONMENT SERVICES
The Committee acceded to requests for a deputation to address the Committee in support of and relative to objections to the above application. After the deputation had stated their cases and answered questions from members of the Committee, they were thanked for their attendance and withdrew.
Thereafter, having considered objections received, the Committee agreed to approve the application, subject to the conditions recommended by the Executive Director of City Development.
