III LEISURE AND CULTURE DUNDEE - RE-APPOINTMENTS

There was submitted Agenda Note AN92-2016 relative to the above.

Reference was made to the Constitution of Leisure & Culture Dundee whereby, at the conclusion of each AGM, two out of the seven charity trustees appointed as Independent Charity Trustees must retire from office but may be re-appointed. Accordingly, it was reported that Sinclair Aitken and Laura Mason would retire from office at the conclusion of the AGM to be held on 16th November, 2016.

Sinclair Aitken was recommended for re-appointment as an Independent Charity Trustee.

Laura Mason had indicated that she did not seek re-appointment.

In the circumstances, the Council approved the re-appointment of Sinclair Aitken and remitted to Leisure and Culture Dundee to progress an advert to bring forward a nomination to fill the vacancy.

Lord Provost Bob DUNCAN, Convener.
