III LOCAL REVIEW BODY - DEPUTE CHAIR
It was reported that Councillor Black had resigned from the above position and from the membership of the Local Review Body. Councillor Black would remain as a trained substitute.
The Council agreed that the vacancy be filled by Councillor Murray.
The Council resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.
IV LEISURE & CULTURE DUNDEE - RE-APPOINTMENTS
There was submitted Agenda Note AN190-2015 relative to the above.
Reference was made to the Constitution of Leisure & Culture Dundee whereby, at the conclusion of each AGM, two out of the seven charity trustees appointed as Independent Charity Trustees must retire from office but may be re-appointed. Accordingly, it was reported that Alice Bovill and Alan Rae would retire from office at the conclusion of the AGM to be held on 18th November, 2015 and were recommended for re-appointment as Independent Charity Trustees.
The Council approved accordingly.
