At a MEETING of the DUNDEE CITY LICENSING BOARD held at Dundee on 19th May, 2016.

I LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005

(a) NEW GRANTS

There were submitted the undernoted applications.

The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the applicant and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to grant the above application, subject to a condition re: consumption of alcohol on the premises being restricted to persons consuming food, waiting to be seated or visiting the premises for a "pre-theatre" drink.

The Board, having heard from the applicant on their own behalf and the Board's Legal Adviser, agreed to grant the above application, subject to alcohol only being served as part of a meal.

(b) VARIATIONS (MAJOR)

The Board, having heard from an agent on behalf of the applicant and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to grant a variation to allow alcohol to be sold for consumption on the premises from 9am Mondays to Sundays and for consumption off the premises from 10am Mondays to Sundays.

To amend local conditions and add the following: DJ/disco, live bands, amend terminal hour from 12 midnight to 1am Friday and Saturday, amend Sunday opening time from 12.30pm to 11am, apply for outdoor drinking facilities, amend access to children and young persons, amend gaming and change of name to Weavers Tavern.

The Board agreed to defer the above application.

II APPLICATION FOR PAVEMENT CAFE - AMBASSADOR BAR

The Board, having heard from the applicant on their own behalf and the Boards Legal Adviser, agreed to refuse the above application.

III GAMBLING ACT 2005

(a) BETTING (OTHER) VARIATIONS

The Board agreed to grant the above application.
