II REGISTERED TENANT ORGANISATIONS - ADMINISTRATION GRANTS

There was submitted Agenda Note AN14-2016 advising that a request for grant assistance towards administration costs for 2015/2016 had been received from Hindmarsh Tenants' and Residents' Association.

The Committee agreed to grant assistance of 311 as requested.

III TENDERS RECEIVED BY HEAD OF DESIGN AND PROPERTY

There was submitted Report No 92-2016 by the Head of Design and Property detailing tenders received and requesting decisions thereon:-

(a) CAMPERDOWN 5TH, 9TH COTTAGES AND FLATS, 10TH NON SHELTERED AND 11TH DEVELOPMENTS - HEATING AND BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 913,521, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 1,000,170.29.

(b) CLEMENT PARK 2ND AND LANSDOWNE 1ST - HEATING AND BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environmental Department (Construction Services) amounting to 31,776, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 34,876.96.

(c) LAWTON BOOTS FLATTED DEVELOPMENT - BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 358,854, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 395,356.59.

(d) HOSPITAL PARK DEVELOPMENT - BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 307,061, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 338,161.19.

(e) ST MARYS 11TH, 13TH AND 14TH DEVELOPMENTS - BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 61,951, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 69,216.84.

(f) CRAIGIE 2ND, 3RD AND 4TH COTTAGES - BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 51,793, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 57,195.41.

(g) CRAIGIEBANK 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD DEVELOPMENTS AND DEAN AVENUE - HEATING AND BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 419,846, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 493,532.91.

(h) DOUGLAS AND ANGUS 2ND AND 3RD SECTION (ALL FLATS), 5TH FLATTED, 11TH AND 13TH COTTAGES - HEATING AND BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 649,115, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 714,289.78.

(i) MILL O'MAINS COTTAGES - HEATING AND BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 140,481, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 155,421.89.

(j) GRAHAM STREET DEVELOPMENT - BOILER RENEWAL

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with the Environment Department (Construction Services) amounting to 262,677, together with the undernoted allowances:-

giving a total expenditure of 289,993.70.

(k) WELLGATE SHELTERED HOUSING - WARDEN CALL SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

The Committee agreed to a partnering project with McGill Electrical Ltd, Dundee amounting to 38,528.41, together with an allowance of 3,275 for professional services, giving a total expenditure of 41,803.41.

IV INDIVIDUAL HOUSES 2015/2016 - HEATING, KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS - EXTENSION TO CONTRACT

On a reference to Article V of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 9th March, 2015, the Head of Design and Property submitted Report No 111-2016 asking Committee to note additional expenditure of the existing contract.

The Committee noted additional spend of approximately 250,000 for additional work comprising renewal of existing heating, kitchens and bathrooms at various properties throughout the city.
