I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

There were no declarations of interest.

 

II SUPPLY OF VEHICLES 2015/2016

 

There was submitted Report No 195-2015 by the Director of Environment seeking approval for the purchase of vehicles as required by the Environment Department to maintain operational efficiency.

 

The Committee approved the purchase of the vehicles listed in Appendix 1, at a total cost of 813,775.

 

III FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY CORE AUDIT

 

There was submitted Report No 194-2015 by the Director of Environment to advise the Committee on the findings of the recent Food Standards Agency's audit of Dundee City Council's Food Safety Service.

 

The Committee noted the content of the report and remitted the Director of Environment to progress with the further improvement measures as detailed in the appendix to this report.

 

IV THE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT'S CONSULTATION ON THE LOW EMISSION STRATEGY FOR SCOTLAND

 

There was submitted Report No 167-2015 by the Director of Environment seeking the Committee's approval for the Council's proposed response to the above Scottish Government's consultation exercise.

 

The Committee approved the response and remitted the Director of Environment to submit this to the Scottish Government accordingly.
