I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

II ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT ANNUAL SERVICE PLAN REVIEW
On a reference to Article II of the Environment Committee of 10th December, 2012, there was submitted Report No 383-2013 by the Director of Environment, providing an update for 2012/2013 on progress with the performance measures and actions/projects which were included in the Environment Department Service Plan 2012-2017.
The Committee agreed to note:-
(i) the content of Environment Department Service Review; and
(ii) the new actions referred to in 4.5.
III GREEN CIRCULAR AND CORE PATH IMPROVEMENTS
There was submitted Report No 368-2013 by Director of Environment seeking approval to undertake improvements to the Green Circular and Core Path network.
The Committee approved the improvement works and authorised the City Engineer to arrange for this work to be undertaken via the Roads Maintenance Partnership with Tayside Contracts.
IV CREATION OF MOUNTAIN BIKE SKILLS TRAIL IN TEMPLETON WOODS
This item was withdrawn.
V TRADING OPERATIONS FINANCIAL OPERATING STATEMENT AND OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE REPORT FORTHREE MONTHS ENDING 30TH JUNE, 2013
There was submitted Report No 344-2013 by Director of Corporate Services and Director of Environment appraising the Committee on the financial position and operational performance of trading operation within the Environment Department for the three months ended 30th June, 2013.
The Committee agreed to note:-
(i) the current financial position and operational performance for trading operations; and
(ii) that the trading operation should exceed the statutory requirement of break even over a three year rolling period.
VI CONSULTATION ON REVIEW OF LOCAL AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN SCOTLAND - CONSULTATIONS BY THESCOTTISH GOVERNMENT
There was submitted Report No 394-2013 by Director of Environment seeking Committee approval for the Council's proposed response to the above Scottish Government consultation exercise.
The Committee approved the response detailed and remitted the Director of Environment to submit this to the Scottish Government accordingly.
