I DECLARATION OF INTEREST
No declarations of interest were made.
II STANDARD CHARGES FOR LOCAL AUTHORITY RESIDENTIAL UNITS
There was submitted Report No 227-2013 by the Director of Social Work recommending the level of standard charge to be applied in 2013/2014 for local authority residential accommodation for adults and older people.
The Committee agreed standard charges for local authority residential accommodation as laid out in Appendix 1 of the report.
III FOSTERING ALLOWANCES 2013/2014
Reference was made to Article VII of the minute of meeting of this Committee held on 20th August, 2012, wherein it was noted that the Social Work Department was consulting with foster carers regarding the level of fostering allowances payable.
There was submitted Agenda Note AN58-2013 reporting that this consultation had now concluded and seeking approval for rates of payment for fostering allowances for 2013/2014.
The Committee agreed the allowances on the terms as detailed in the note.
